Bike Hall of Fame to Open in California

The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame will hold its grand opening April 24 in Davis, Calif. The museum will feature historical photographs, trophies, medals, newspaper clippings, video and memorabilia from the greatest cyclists in the United States. The Hall of Fame is relocating the museum from New Jersey to Davis, a Northern California community known as the most bicycle–friendly city in the country. It claims more bike ways per mile of roadway than any other city in the world. Davis will host the Stage 2 Start of the Amgen Tour of California bike race May 17.
