Kentucky Derby Museum to Reopen After Facelift
The Kentucky Derby Museum at Louisville’s Churchill Downs, closed since a summer flood wrecked many exhibits, reopens April 18 following a $5.5-million renovation project. Keeping the original footprint, exhibit space will increase considerably. Exhibits will take on new themes including action in the infield, the annual parade of glamorous and creative fashion, star power and a horse’s odyssey from foal to contender.
